HOW TO GET STUFFED AROUND STUFFY COMPANY

Need to keep a high profile this Thanksgiving?
Hopefully most of you will be in your slippers and stretchy pants, but for anyone who's keeping higher company this year, here's my wardrobe hacks to keep you stylish, comfy, and turkey-friendly.

1. Oversize It
Thank goodness oversize is in. Especially for fall, there's no shame in going for that triple XL look this season, allowing your belly to expand without worry of that food-baby showing through.

2. Layers
Layering is a great way to stay cozy, warm, and comfortable in high fashion situations. I layered my Cable Knit Sweater Dress from Chicwish.com over a gingham midi skirt, which I layered over knee high boots for dimension and a little lift as well. Throwing a camel overcoat over your look can add an extra layer of cool-girl style, with that whole "I Woke Up Like This" vibe that will wow your guests every time.

3. Neutrals
Staying neutral (in politics and otherwise) is a great way to stay chic this Thanksgiving. Neutrals help add an extra boost of class and require minimal effort on your part as well-- plus you'll look great in every group photo too, however appealing that lime green jumpsuit might seem...

4. Laid back, Hair back
Though your party might be high maintenance, your hair doesn't have to be. I love swishing my long hair back into a chic and sleek low bun that is both iconic and easy, keeping my locks out of my plate and everyone else's!

Let me know if these tips help you, and have a wonderful Holiday!!
XOXO
