WE NEED MORE PRODUCTIVE PROGRESS.
In today's volcanic political climate, the activists in us are firing on all cylinders, taking to Facebook, Twitter, even the streets to defend what we believe is right. As I see it-- just a young caucasian millennial female with an upper-middle class background and passion for social/political activism-- the world at large could use a little more truth, honesty, and productivity in the name of progress. It is my belief that respect is to be earned, and success to be struggled for; and, in order to reach either of these goals, you have to first represent yourself the way you wish others to see you. This is why I have such an interest in women's workwear: how to keep femininity and professionality within the workplace, to give young women an edge on their competition (and there will be LOTS of competition) the moment they walk through the door.
I also believe in using every resource to further a message, and amazing companies like Natia Erin have mastered the ability to use their platform for good, and design ethical Made In America clothing suited for women's empowerment. From tweed treasures to pencil-skirt paradise, Natia Erin has both heart and heroines at the center of their beautiful collections.
