Look to the Rainbow-- last post of being 14!

Last post of being 14! My birthday being tomorrow, I am very much going through the whole “this year has gone by so fast” phase. But really, it was quite a while ago I took that trip to Las Vegas for my birthday last year. Since then I have become a recording artist, gotten my braces off, went to New York, and completed my first semester of high school! I have just grown so much all around since then, and though I have the same heart, I think my mind has grown more intent on my goals.

Then there’s also that whole “what do I want 15 to be like,” and I can tell you that I’m going to do a whole lot more this year than last. Fifteen is a big deal to me, it’s when you’re really that maturing girl—not quite 16 but still much farther than 13. I always knew that I would have to turn the burn on, and I’m going to really try and get as much done as possible. Hopefully without wearing myself down too much <3

But as far as my look goes…
In this shoot I wanted to go for layers and levels. A light and airy waterfall dress with a dark long knit sweater tied up over it. Then paired with my favorite kitty knee socks and dark green boots (which my friends call “Ozian shoes”). I really love Love LOVE it when the sky is all cloudy and grey—reminds me of the ominous future ahead.

And that’s really what this look is about. It’s a little spring-y so I felt like I was looking to what’s coming—especially because of my birthday. But I think the horizon has a few more beautiful skies for
